KBLC Yapen alumni Angela Septiani Tekon and Paulisa Tamara Maran received full undergraduate scholarships to PPM School of Management through collaboration with Kitong Bisa Foundation.
Access to higher education can become an important milestone in a young person’s learning journey.
Angela Septiani Tekon and Paulisa Tamara Maran are alumni of Kitong Bisa Learning Center Yapen who continued their education beyond the community learning center.
According to Kitong Bisa Foundation materials, both received full undergraduate scholarships at PPM School of Management through collaboration with Kitong Bisa Foundation.
Their journey illustrates how learning that begins at the community level can lead toward broader educational opportunities.
For KBLC, education does not necessarily end when learners complete activities at the learning center. The larger goal is to help create pathways that allow young people to continue learning and pursuing new opportunities.
Angela and Paulisa became part of that journey.
From KBLC Yapen to higher education, their story demonstrates the importance of connecting learning with real opportunities for continued education.
Every new opportunity can open another door—and every open door can expand what young people imagine for their future.
