KBF Indonesia continues to strengthen its commitment to open wider access to education for children in Papua. One of the steps taken is to provide a safe, inclusive, and close to the community learning space.

Through interactively designed learning activities, children not only get academic support, but also the opportunity to develop self-confidence, creativity, ability to cooperate, as well as practical skills that are useful in everyday life.

Learn closer to the community

For many children, access to a comfortable learning space is still a challenge. Therefore, a community-based approach is one way to bring learning opportunities closer to children and families.

Learning activities are conducted with facilitators and volunteers who understand local needs. The material is adapted to the age, environment, and conditions of the participants so that the learning process can run more relevant and fun.

“We want every child to feel that they have the opportunity to learn, develop and dream bigger.”

Not just about lessons in class

KBF Indonesia’s education programs also encourage character and skill development.

In addition to academic activities, participants can participate in activities that help them learn about communication, problem solving, leadership, creativity, and cooperation.

This approach is expected to help children not only develop in school, but also become self-confident and able to contribute to their environment.

Collaboration Is Key

KBF Indonesia believes that change cannot be done alone.

Collaboration with communities, educators, volunteers, governments, corporate partners, and various organizations is an important part of expanding the impact of the program.

With the right support, more children can gain access to education and opportunities to develop their potential.

Looking to the future

In the future, KBF Indonesia will continue to develop education and empowerment programs that suit the needs of the community.

The hope is simple: the more children get the opportunity to learn, the greater the chance of creating a generation capable of bringing positive change to its community.
